Beer Can Island has been a community gathering spot for decades, dating back to 1944 when the island was conveyed by the state of Florida to private ownership. The board of directors of the Pine Key Project want to carry that tradition into the future by offering the community the opportunity to become a part owner of the island.
We are now offering equity owner membership for $1000, you can purchase 1 or more “shares” or LLC, Owner Membership units and become part owner of the Beer Can Island Owners Club LLC. A total of 1,500 membership units are available for purchase in the LLC.
The proceeds from this sale will go towards island related expenses, including but not limited to, zoning, attorneys, architects, engineers, landscaping, breakwaters, sand replenishment and rebuilding the tiki bar etc…
How does it work?
1) Submit your information on the request form and select how many shares you’d like to purchase.
2) Next, You will receive an ownership purchase agreement via DocuSign. Once completed you will receive payment instructions.
3) After payment is confirmed you will receive a 2nd email from DocuSign with an official Ownership Certificate that also needs to be signed.

Extensive efforts will also involve augmenting the island’s size by adding several acres of sand, aiming to restore it to its expansive 1995 dimensions of over 26 acres. Alongside, meticulous landscaping and the introduction of supplementary amenities will enhance the island’s allure.
Collaborating closely with county officials, legal experts, engineers, and designers, we are dedicated to crafting a reimagined island experience that surpasses all past iterations.
