Beer Can Island has been a community gathering spot for decades, dating back to 1944 when the island was conveyed by the state of Florida to private ownership. The mission is simple: a private island for the community, owned by the community.

We are now offering equity owner membership for $1,030. You can purchase 1 or more “shares” or LLC Owner Membership Units and become a part owner of the Beer Can Island Owners Club LLC. Proceeds go toward zoning, attorneys, architects, engineers, landscaping, breakwaters, sand replenishment, and rebuilding the tiki bar.

Paradise island – Pine Key, an extraordinary haven just 2 miles from the mainland, affectionately known as “Beer Can Island.” Encompassing approximately 9 acres of picturesque pine tree-covered upland, along with approximately 60+/– acres of shoal area, complete with riparian rights and rights of accretion.

The most recent survey shows the island having an upland of 9 acres and a “shoal area” of approximately 60+/– acres mainly to the south and west of the uplands.
